CONDITION: Pre-Worn & Has Been Altered
FLAWS: Some of the bustling buttons fell off. Additionally, as you'll see in the photo, part of the detail on the chest is supposed to connect but has come apart. I can't remember at this point if it was initially connected or if this was done in alterations. Also, there is some discoloration on parts of the hem.
DRESS HISTORY: Approximately 1-3” were hemmed from the bottom of the dress. A bustle was added. Cups were added to the chest. Some of the chest detail looked funny (was pointy) so they smoothed that out. This dress has been professionally dry-cleaned.
COLOR: Cream Lace / Beige Mesh / Off white Lining
FABRIC: Lace + Chiffon
BRIDE HEIGHT + HEELS: 5'9"
FROM THE SELLER:
WHY SHE LOVED IT: The back! I wanted a dress with an interesting back and this one did not disappoint with the beautiful satin ties that wrap and tied into a nice bow right in the perfect spot in the back.
HOW DID SHE FEEL: It made me feel comfortable and beautiful. I wanted to be able to move and sit and dance on my wedding day and I was able to do all of those things without feeling constricted. I also wanted to show some skin, without being overly sexy, and I think this was the perfect compromise for that
DEAR FUTURE BRIDE: I get emotional thinking that this dress that helped make my wedding day the best day of my life will be able to do the same for someone else. These dresses are so beautiful and usually only get to see the light of day once before they are stowed in the back of a closet, and I never wanted that for my dress. I hope that your day is filled with joy and that buying this dress will help you feel like the beautiful bride that you are.
